Dear Kennedy Parents and Community,

Welcome back to a new school year! I hope this letter finds you and your loved ones well-rested, healthy, and excited for the opportunities that lie ahead. Whether you're returning or joining our community for the first time, we are thrilled to welcome you to what promises to be a year of growth, learning, and connection.

As your principal, I am filled with pride and optimism as we prepare to open our doors for another incredible year. Our dedicated teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare classrooms, plan engaging lessons, and create an environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. We are committed to fostering not only academic excellence but also the social and emotional well-being of all our students.

This year, we are especially focused on building a strong sense of community and belonging at all levels, strengthening literacy, and promoting student leadership. Through collaboration, high expectations, and a shared commitment to every child’s success, I am confident we will accomplish great things together.

We encourage you to stay engaged and involved throughout the school year. Your partnership makes a powerful difference in your child’s education. Please be sure to check our school website, newsletters, and social media for important updates, upcoming events, and opportunities to connect.

The first day of school is Thursday, July 31, 2025, and we can’t wait to welcome our students back with smiles, energy, and open arms.

If you haven’t already, please enroll on ParentVue. Why? It allows you to complete online registration, update health, emails and numbers, check attendance, report cards, etc. If you need help, Office Staff is always available to help you register.

Thank you for being a valued part of our school community. Together, let’s make this school year one of joy, discovery, and achievement.

Sincerely,

Melissa Chin
