Dear Kennedy School Community,

Welcome to the 2026-27 school year! I hope your summer was filled with moments of rest, joy, and rejuvenation. As we open our doors once again, there is a palpable sense of energy and purpose throughout our halls.

This year, our theme is "Growing Together." Following our recent Comprehensive Needs Assessment, we are more committed than ever to fostering an environment where every student feels a deep sense of belonging and is challenged to reach their highest potential. Our focus for the year will consist of three key pillars:

· Inclusion & Belonging: Ensuring our classrooms reflect and celebrate the diverse identities of every student.

· The STARS Framework: We will continue to lean into our STARS Recognition program, celebrating students and staff who demonstrate Successful Learner, Teamwork, Accepting, Respect, and Safety.

· Academic Excellence: Implementing data-driven strategies to ensure our "Education Continuity" remains seamless and rigorous.
