Greetings Parent(s) and Guardian(s):

This morning, I observed several unsafe behaviors during school drop-off. One driver stopped in the roadway and opened a car door to let a student out, blocking a line of vehicles. Another made a U-turn in the crosswalk, and a third vehicle blocked the crosswalk entirely, preventing students and adults from safely crossing to the school.
 
These actions violate California Vehicle Codes (CVC) and create hazardous conditions for our school community. It is essential that all adults follow traffic laws to help keep everyone safe before and after school.
